VI Raiders 2024 BCFC All-Star and All-Canadian Awards
The VI Raiders have once again solidified their status as a powerhouse in Canadian junior football. In a season defined by grit, talent, and teamwork, three standout athletes earned BCFC All-Star honours, while two of them went on to claim prestigious All-Canadian accolades.
BCFC All-Stars
Ruben Bonsu – Triple Crown Winner
Ruben Bonsu delivered a phenomenal season that earned him the coveted BCFC Triple Crown. Over 10 games, he showcased his unmatched skills by securing 53 receptions for 805 yards, averaging an impressive 15.2 yards per catch. Bonsu's 10 touchdowns and a breathtaking 88-yard season-long play solidified his reputation as one of the league’s most electrifying offensive weapons.
Sadler Smith – Quarterback Extraordinaire
As the anchor of the Raiders’ offense, Sadler Smith’s precision and leadership earned him a well-deserved spot as a BCFC All-Star. Across seven games, Smith completed 165 of 264 passes, achieving a 62.5% completion rate and amassing 2,142 passing yards. With an average of 306 yards per game and 20 touchdowns, Smith’s consistent excellence made him an indispensable leader for the Raiders.
Felice Toscano Jr. – Defensive Leader
Felice Toscano Jr. was a cornerstone of the Raiders’ defense, earning BCFC All-Star recognition alongside a 2nd Team All-Canadian nod. In 10 games, Toscano amassed 34 tackles, 4 assisted tackles, and 4 interceptions, totaling 96 points. His ability to disrupt opponents’ plays and create turnovers was instrumental in the team’s success throughout the season.

Ruben Bonsu – Offensive Juggernaut
Ruben Bonsu’s stellar season transcended local recognition, earning him All-Canadian honors. Known for his ability to dominate opposing defenses and deliver game-changing plays, Bonsu is now cemented as one of the most feared receivers in Canadian junior football.
Felice Toscano Jr. – Defensive Standout
Felice Toscano Jr. also garnered national attention for his defensive prowess. As an All-Canadian, Toscano’s versatility, tactical awareness, and relentless playmaking ability placed him among the elite defensive talents in the country.
